Invitation to Inter-parliamentary Committee Meeting on “E-Justice: lessons
learned from national perspectives”, Brussels, 4 December 2024, 10.30 – 12.30

Honourable Chairperson,
I am pleased to inform you that the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI)
will organise an Inter-parliamentary Committee Meeting with National Parliaments on 4
December 2024, in Brussels, on “E-Justice: lessons learned from national perspectives”.
The meeting aims to discuss the progress in the field of the digititalisation of justice within the
Union, as well as the challenges, opportunities and perspectives of this process at the national
level, where the legislative bodies of Member States play a crucial role.
The JURI Committee would like to invite Members of National Parliaments to this Inter-
parliamentary Committee Meeting and share their views and experience, making a valuable and
essential contribution to the discussion on this important issue.
I am therefore pleased to invite up to four Members of the relevant committee(s) from each
National Parliament (two from each Chamber in the case of bi-cameral Parliaments) to attend
this meeting.
Practical details regarding the meeting will be forwarded in due course to the services of your
Parliament responsible for relations with the European Parliament.
