You may collect your ID badges:

on Sunday, 23 February 2025, between 1.00 PM and 8.00 PM at the Presidency

welcome desk at Sheraton Grand Warsaw, which is the suggested

Delegations accommodated in other hotels and participating in events

scheduled for Sunday, 23 February 2025, are asked to collect their ID badges from

Sheraton Grand Warsaw and use the transport arranged from the hotel;

on Monday, 24 February 2025, from 8.00 AM, at the welcome desk in the

parliament.

You must produce your identity card or passport when collecting your ID badge.

For security purposes, please wear your ID badge in a visible location throughout

the whole meeting schedule (also during side events).

After 8 February 2025, the allocation of hotel rooms reserved for the delegation will

no longer be maintained, and bookings will be subject to room availability at the time.

Changes in details concerning individual bookings with no bearing on the price

(such as in the guests’ name) will be made by the hotel free of charge.

Room prices specified above include a breakfast buffet and an Internet connection

in the hotel room.

Check-in time is 3.00 PM and check-out time is noon. Late check-out by 6.00 PM

is subject to availability and a 50% nightly rate surcharge. Late check-out post 6.00 PM

TRANSPORT

Delegations are responsible for arranging transport from and to the airport.

Transport in mini coaches between Sheraton Grand Warsaw, the Sejm and the Senate,

and the Royal Castle in Warsaw – Museum (guided tour) will be provided by the

organiser.

SKM Rapid Urban Railway

To reach Sheraton Grand Warsaw from the Warsaw Chopin Airport by rail,

we recommend getting on the S2 line of SKM Rapid Urban Railway:

Get off at the Warszawa-Powiśle station (a 26-minute trip from the Warsaw Chopin

Airport). You may then reach Sheraton Grand Warsaw on foot (850 m, 13-minute

walk).

Transport from the Warsaw Modlin Airport

The Warsaw Modlin Airport is a long distance away from the heart of Warsaw (36 km).

INTERPRETATION

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the meeting in Polish, English and

French.

A few more interpreter booths can be provided for interested delegations. Please send

your individual request to the organisers of the Meeting of the Joint Parliamentary

TAKING THE FLOOR DURING THE MEETING

If you wish to register in advance as a speaker in the debate, please select the relevant

field in the online meeting registration form. You will also be able to ask for the floor

during the meeting by filling out a paper form.

MEETING-RELATED DOCUMENTS

and in hard copy on the meeting date.

WI-FI

Wi-Fi will be available at the meeting venue. Access details will be provided on the spot.

WORKING ROOM

Throughout the duration of the meeting, delegations will have access to a working

room with computers, printers, and a copying machine.

BROADCAST AND MEDIA

Broadcasts and records of the meeting will be available on the Sejm’s and

the Senate’s websites and social media profiles. Journalists with multiple-entry

parliamentary passes and those who have sent their

application to ‘[email protected]’

will be able to avail themselves of the Press Centre to play back the meeting.

PARLIAMENTARY REGULATIONS

Smoking tobacco products and e-cigarettes is allowed only outside the Sejm and the

Senate building, in a designated spot.

You must not carry weapons or dangerous substances in the Sejm and the Senate.

You will undergo a Marshal Guard security inspection before entering the Sejm and

the Senate buildings.

You must not bring beverages inside the meeting room (they will be available outside

of the room).

CURRENCY

The official currency in Poland is the Polish złoty (PLN). EUR 1 = ca. PLN 4,3.

ELECTRICITY

In Poland, power plugs and sockets of type F are used. The voltage is 230 V at a

frequency of 50 Hz.

TIME ZONE

On the meeting date, the time zone used in Poland will be UTC+1.
