In the run up to the

Interparliamentary Committee Meeting of the Committee on Women's Rights

and Gender Equality (FEMM),

which will take place on

Thursday, 6 March 2025, from 9:00 to

12:30 (CET) in the Antall building, room 6Q2, European Parliament, Brussels,

please find enclosed

the following documents:

•

Latest version of the

draft programme,

•

Practical information note

with all details regarding the distribution of access cards/badges

to the EP, the entrance to be used to access the meeting, interpretation during the meeting,

speaking time arrangements, Wi-Fi access and other useful information,

•

List of participants

from national Parliaments who registered for the meeting.

The meeting is organised on the occasion of International Women’s

Day 2025 on the theme:

“Strengthening

the Women, Peace and Security Agenda

–Upholding Women’s Rights in Defence,

Security and Peace Building”.

This year’s theme highlights several priorities starting with the need

to ensure women’s full participation in decision-making

processes, particularly in defence, security,

and peacebuilding, where their leadership leads to more inclusive and lasting peace.

Please be kindly advised that this event is totally paperless and there will be no paper copies in the

meeting room. The latest versions of meeting documents will be available on the website of the

EP’s Directorate for Relations with National Parliaments accessible

HERE.

ACCREDITATION

As previously announced, new security measures imply that all access badges including badges for

Members of Parliaments have to be personally printed at the kiosks in Station Europe.

Duly registered participants will personally print and collect their access cards on

Thursday, 6

March

at dedicated interactive kiosks. Badges have to be printed at the kiosk personally, so

delegation representatives cannot collect the badges for others.

The kiosks are located within the Station Europe building accessible from Place Luxembourg (please

see the map in the Practical Info Note).

Visitors will have to scan the ID document that they

registered with in order to print the badge.

The badge can only be printed on the day of the event

during opening hours of Station Europe, starting from

07.30.

Staff from the Directorate for

Relations with National Parliaments will be there from

8.30 to 9.00.

Personnel from the European

Parliament will assist the delegates.

SPEAKING CARDS

There will be speaking cards distributed in the meeting rooms for Members who wish to request

the floor for the 2 panels (please refer to the enclosed PIN for details).

WEBSTREAMING

As a standard practice, the whole meeting will be web-streamed. You can find the links per day in

the Practical Information Note attached herewith.

WALKING LUNCH

Following the ICM, participants are kindly invited to a

buffet lunch,

which will take place on

Thursday, 6 March 2025, from 12:30 to 13:45 (CET)

in the

Catering Area of the Antall Building, 3

floor,
