invite you to join an expert dialogue focused on combatting gender-based violence.
This is an event organised in collaboration
between the women’s shelter and women’s rights organization
Danner and the Embassy of Canada.

The dialogue will feature Canadian Ambassador Carolyn Bennett, Danner’s Executive Director

Marie Yde
and Canadian senator
Michèle Audette
(virtual participation), who, among other things, led
Canada’s National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. It will draw on Danish
and Canadian experiences and practices on combatting gender-based violence, including focus on
approaches which are trauma-informed, culturally safe and evidence based. The audience is encouraged to
actively participate in the dialogue.
