Vision for the Green Corridor of Africa
In an international collaboration including for now Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and
Tunisia, we aim at:
Reducing local environmental and climate impacts in a way that provide food, water and
prosperity to local population, and ensure good economy for all.
By initiating and implementing projects nationally on reuse and recycling of solid and fluent waste
for e.g., producing biomass and new forests in rural areas, the project will:
• Solve local environmental challenges and providing a climate positive impact by capturing of CO
2
• Increase use of renewable energy sources
• Complete the project with respect for the UN Global goals and the European green deal.
Challenges met today in North- and Western Saharan countries
Desertification is expanding rapidly northward and westward in the region
People are increasingly loosing their livelihood
Lack of rainfall destroys agricultural production, and
Lack of potable water and food may cause migration.
On top of that;
Solid and liquid waste pose major health and environmental problems.
Positive national effects
The Green Corridor of Africa will nationally:
Provide a carbon neutral and cleaner environment
Create tens of thousands of new green jobs locally
Develop a new profitable green sustainable economy
Produce new forests, local food, and new infrastructure.

as first step
The first project to be launched will be on Alternative
wastewater treatment containing:
onstruct new alternative wastewater treatment
C
plants for biomass- and electricity production
est environmental impacts and growing
T
“temporary” forests for biomass production
evelop first farms on 10 hectares for growing
D
permanent forests
oing all of it controlled by verified third-party,

and scientifically reported.

With help from new national legislation within e.g.
CO

-quotas, reduction of use of hazardous
chemicals, and a new taxation system for biomass
as source, reforestation and agricultural.
10 hectares test area for reforestation and
agricultural purpose.
Sustainability in an environmental,
social and economic context
Beside the obvious advantages in reducing environ-
mental impacts and reducing desertification
the project will:
reate millions of new green jobs cross countries
