Global Parliamentary Forum 2024
Dear Honourable,
On behalf of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and IMF, it is my pleasure to announce that the 2024 Global
Parliamentary Forum (GPF), jointly organised with the World Bank and the IMF, will be taking place
in-person in
Washington D.C
on 15-16 April, ahead of the 2024 Spring Meetings (SMs). This year’s overarching theme will focus on
more coherent and sustained action to respond to the multiple global challenges.
The Forum represents a unique assembly of legislators and development partners and is dedicated to deliberations on
crucial issues in international development. This year’s Forum will focus on a number of pressing issues, including
artificial intelligence, climate change, debt, gender, governance, as well as multilateral development efforts such as the
IDA Replenishment and the IMF Resilience and Sustainability Trust.
Online registrations for the Forum will open on 20
th
February 2024.
The International Secretariat of the Parliamentary
