From the Shinkansen General Control
Center, operators contribute to
ensuring the precision, safety, and
reliability for which the Shinkansen is
renowned. Within the control center,
visitors can observe a large screen
displaying all tracks, stations, and the
current locations of trains, which
operators continuously adjust to
optimize train traffic.
The exhibition centre is a museum
where visitors can learn about the
science and history of maglev trains.
Here you can see and touch the
actual trains and their structures,
including the vehicle that set the train
speed world record of 603 kilometres
per hour, and try hands-on
experiments with maglev technology.
Meeting about mobility initiatives for
elderly people within transport.
The Japan Transport and Tourism
Research Institute (JTTRI) is an
independent, non-profit organization
affiliated with the Japanese Ministry of
Land, Infrastructure, Transport and
Tourism.
The meeting will end with a photo
session.

discussion on transport issues in
Denmark and Japan.

The purpose of the meeting is to get
insights on the legal framework that
surrounds the use of automatic
vehicles in Japan and what
challenges the use of automatic
vehicles correspond to. Take-aways
on how to address the increasing
issue of demographic challenges
within the transportation sector,
which both countries are facing.
The purpose of the meeting is to get
insights on the concrete steps, that
JAL is undertaking to create greener
aviation and to identify and learn
from the biggest obstacles, JAL is
experiencing.
The purpose of the visit to the Port of
Yokohama is to experience one of
the largest and busiest ports of
Japan.
During the visit to the port, the
delegation will experience a ride on
the Yokohama Air Cabin.
Japan’s
first and world’s most advanced
urban-type circular ropeway creates
a new kind of attraction at Yokohama
Minato Mirai.
