INTERPARLIAMENTARY MEETING
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ITS FUTURE IMPACTS
BRUSSELS, 28-29 JANUARY 2024
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
1) Meeting venue
Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation - Chamber
Entrance: Rue Royale 72, 1000 Brussels
2) Official dinner
A dinner will be held on 28 January (Salle des Glaces - Parliament of the Brussels-Capital
Region - rue du Lombard 69, 1000 Brussels).
Participants are requested to mention any food intolerances or allergies on the registration form.

4) Accommodation
The conference organisers have secured preferential rates at a number of hotels all within 10
minutes of the conference venue. The list of hotels and their prices can be found at the following

5) Registration
All participants, including interpreters accompanying delegations, are requested to register
before 22 January 2024, using the form available at the address

6) Arrival and departure of delegations
As all the recommended hotels are in the direct vicinity of the meeting venues, no transfers are
planned.
7) Accreditations
All participants registered for the meeting will receive a badge. This badge can be retrieved at
the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation from 08:30.
Colours of accreditation ribbons:
- head of delegation: red;
- delegation members: blue;
- delegation staff: green;
- speaker: light blue;
- observer/guest: orange;
- organiser: tricolour (black-yellow-red)
- interpreters: grey.
8) Interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in French, Dutch, English and German. A limited
number of additional booths will be available for delegations wishing to bring their own
interpreting service at their own expense, on a "first come, first served" basis.
9) Documentation
A documentation pack will be distributed prior to the meeting.
10) Press and broadcasting
The conference is open to the press and will be broadcast live on Youtube.
11) Smoke-free area
Smoking is prohibited in all Parliament buildings, with the exception of the smoking room on
the third floor.
12) Banking and foreign exchange
The euro is the currency used in Belgium.
