Consent to shipments of waste regarding notification, n

435092, Regulation no. 1013/2006 on shipments of waste

Decision:

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency encloses our consent to the

above mentioned notification regarding shipments of waste in accordance

with Article 9 of the Waste Shipment Regulation

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency’s consent is issued

under the following condition:

The fraction shall contain an average of 5% oil and no less than minimum

3% oil (% by volume), that can be recovered.

The oil content must be documented throughout the notification period. The

Danish EPA can at any time require a specific analysis method regarding

DS/R 209:2006.

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency has stamped, signed and

dated the original notification document. The original movement document

is enclosed as well.

The validity of our consent is indicated in box 20 in the notification docu-

ment.

Please note that in accordance with Article 9, you may not carry

out any

shipments before you have received consents from all competent

authorities involved.

Please note the following provisions in the Waste Shipment Regulation:

Article 16(1) (b):

Procedure for pre-notification:

At least three working days before the shipment starts,

the notifier

shall insert the actual date of shipment and send signed copies of the com-

pleted movement document to the competent authorities concerned and to

the consignee (box 6 in the movement document).

Please do not forget to state an expected amount of waste (box 5 in the

movement document).

Article 16(1) (c):

Procedure when the transport is taking place:

The notifier shall retain a copy of the movement document. The movement

document and copies of the notification documents containing the written

consent and the conditions of each of the competent authorities concerned

shall accompany each transport.

Article 16(1) (d)

Procedure when the waste has been received:

Within three days after receipt of the waste,

the facility shall provide

confirmation in writing that the waste has been received. The facility shall

send signed copies of the movement document containing this confirmation

to the notifier and to the competent authorities concerned (box 18 in the

movement document).

Article 16(1) (e) and article 9(7):

Procedure when the recovery or disposal operation has been com-

pleted:

Certificate for recovery or disposal by the facility: as soon as pos-

sible, but no later than 30 days after completion of the recovery

or disposal operation, and no later than one calendar year after

receipt of the waste,

the facility carrying out the operation shall, under

its responsibility, certify that the recovery or disposal has been completed.

This is done by completing and sending the movement document to the no-

tifier and the competent authorities (box 19 in the movement document).
