Europol,
which will take place
on 26 and 27 March 2023 at the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag) in
Stockholm.
The meeting will be held in person only.
The meeting will tackle a number of issues directly arising from the JPSG’s prerogatives according to
Article 51 of the Europol Regulation, including presentations by Ms Catherine DE BOLLE, Europol
Executive Director, Mr Jérôme BONET, Chairperson of the Europol Management Board and Mr
Wojciech WIEWIÓROWSKI, the European Data Protection Supervisor. During the meeting, there
will also be keynote interventions by Ms Ylva JOHANSSON, European Commissioner for Home
Affairs, and Mr Gunnar STRÖMMER, Minister for Justice of Sweden. Furthermore, the draft agenda
includes two thematic debates, on
Europol’s operational support to member states – with a special
focus on the concept of High Value Targets/Operational Task Force (HVT/OTF)
and on
the fight
against trafficking in human beings.
