The Sudanese community in Denmark
27 November 2021 Copenhagen
Dear Danish government
Dear foreign affairs committee in Danish parliament
Situation in Sudan
The Sudanese people overthrew the dictatorial regime of Omar Al-Bashir with one of the greatest
revolutions in the history of humanity. This revolution has proven that even greatest tyrants and
dictators can be defeated and uprooted
out
oftheirthrones with peaceful protests and marchers.
It was great revolution from a great nation a nation that deserves a decent life.
Tyrants come in thousand colors and in different shapes. General Lieutenant Abdel Faflah Al-burhan is
just another face of the former dictator Omar Al-bashir. They learned in the same school of dictatorship
and the belong to the same ideology.
Al-Burhan betrayed the covenant he made, betrayed the constitutional document, and overthrew the
civil
led government in a full-fledged milftary coup. This military coup that Al-burhan planned planed and
cooperated with the leader of the ianjaweed militla, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo.
It is very unfortunate that general Burhan, the head of the Council, and his Allis, have undermined the
agreement and constructional documents that they previously committed themselves to. Rather than
guard an uphold the principles of peace and democracy, and help in leading out beloved country to
peace and prosperity.
Many civilian ministers are still under arrested, furthermore ali means of communications within the
country and to the rest of the world have been deliberately disabled including mobile network and the
country is living a total internet blackout.
Sudanese people still leave the bad memories of the military headquarter and its massacre. And we
know how military can be violent and we still remember ali the monstrous
acts
committed at the time
by the same group against peaceful unarmed protestors.
Ifl the 30s of October millions of Sudanese went out on the streets in unified peaceful unarmed protests
declaringtheirabsolute refusal ofthis milftarycoup.

The political agreement between prime minister Hamduk and the military is another down point in
Sudan.
we think that Ai-burhan has no right to appoint a prime minister and we are disappointed to see Mr
Hamduk accepting such situation.
The majority of Sudanese people do flot accept this political agreement and the demonstrations are
continuing in ali the cities in Sudan.
The people of Sudan are demanding the miiftary out of politics. They army has no place in the political
governmental work.
Sudanese people are demanding a civilian led transitional government that has a full authority over ali
the country institutions including the army.
We are sending this note to the foreign affairs committee in Danish parliament ,requesting Denmark to
stand beside the people of Sudan in confronting and refusing this criminai act, and demand the military
bodies to immediate respond to the people’s demands, cease ali acts of violence against civilians and
restore communication, mobile network and internet in the country.
We emphasize once again that the people of Sudan will not accept any negotiations, partnership,
bargains, or solutions that include the inclusions of military in the poiitical scene.
