on the current situation in Ukraine - position of the Chamber of Deputies on the situation in
Ukraine and the massacre in Bucha
the Chamber of Deputies
I.
notes,
that:
1.
the Russian Federation has committed the crime of aggression against Ukraine, has
unleashed a large-scale and unprovoked war in Europe, strives to destroy the rules-based
international order, and is attacking freedom, liberal democracy and Western
civilization based on respect for the human and civil rights of every individual,
the Russian leadership has lost all credibility and must be held accountable for its
actions,
the murders of civilians in Bucha and other Ukrainian cities constitutes a war crime
under international law,
the kidnapping of people from occupied Ukrainian territory into the Russian Federation,
the targeted attacks against civilian infrastructure and the behavior of the Russian
military is unjustifiable,
the drafting of conscripts into the Russian army in the occupied territories of Ukraine,
including Crimea, is also in flagrant violation of international law,
the aggression against Ukraine, which the Russian Federation committed in 2014 by
occupying Crimea and part of the territory of eastern Ukraine, also constitutes a crime,
all those responsible for these crimes must be brought to justice and punished,
the Russian Federation must bear the consequences for unleashing the war, including
the payment of reparations;
