Dear colleagues,
please find attached the Resolution on Russian aggression adopted by the Czech Chamber of
Deputies at its plenary session on 24 February.
In the resolution, the Czech Chamber of Deputies, among others:
- categorically condemns Russia's aggression against Ukraine, which contravenes the basic norms
of international law and the principles of mutual relations between civilised nations;
- expresses its disagreement with the aggressive rhetoric of the political leadership of the Russian
Federation;
- expresses its support for Ukraine at this difficult time, supports its territorial integrity and
sovereignty within its internationally recognised borders;
- appreciates that the Government of the Czech Republic has strongly and promptly condemned the
aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine;
- calls on the Government of the Czech Republic to continue its efforts in support of Ukraine, both
bilaterally and within the EU, NATO, and other international organisations;
- calls on the Russian Federation to immediately stop its military aggression against Ukraine.
