In the context of the restrictions imposed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bureau of the Conference of
the Parties (COP) to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) approved arrangements for the
Ninth Session of the COP (COP9) to be held virtually, using videoconferencing technology. COP9 will only consider an
abridged version of the provisional agenda.
