The Presidents of the European Parliament and the German Bundestag are pleased to invite you to
the
High-level Conference on Migration and Asylum,
which will take place on
Thursday, 19
November 2020 from 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:30 CET in the European Parliament in
Brussels.
This meeting will be co-organised by the European Parliament and the Bundestag in co-
operation with the other two Parliaments of the Trio Presidency, the Portuguese and Slovenian
Parliaments.
Due to the current restrictions on physical presence in the premises of the EP, introduced due to the
COVID-19 pandemic, the High-level Conference will take place via videoconference, so that MPs
of EU national Parliaments, officials as well as National Parliaments Representatives are invited to
participate in the meeting
remotely online.
The official invitation letter will follow soon.
Please note that up to four Members of the relevant committee(s) from each national Parliament are
invited to participate (two from each Chamber in the case of bicameral Parliaments).
