Conference "Brazilian and Danish contribution to the challenge of sustainable food supply"
Dear Mr. Bertel Haarder,
Please find attached the invitation and preliminary program to the conference "Brazilian and Danish
contribution to the challenge of sustainable food supply" that will take place on October 28th, 2021
at Børssalen in Copenhagen. The conference is organized by the Embassy of Brazil in Copenhagen,
in collaboration with DAKOFO, the Danish Agriculture and Food Council and Food Nation.
The Brazilian delegation attending the conference will include the Governor of the State of Mato
Grosso; Senator Irajá Silvestre, from the Interparty Group for Agriculture and Livestock in the
National Congress; the Secretary of Innovation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Brazil;
the President of EMBRAPA, the Brazilian Agriculture Research Corporation; representatives from
the Legal Soy Program, from the sustainable agriculture program of Mato Grosso, from the agritech
cluster research center of the University of São Paulo; from think tanks, NGOs and the national
agricultural confederation.
There will be opportunity to network and establish valuable research, business and policy contacts.
The Ambassador of Brazil would like to extend the invitation to all members of the Committee of
Foreign Affairs.
