Excellency,
I
would like
to
inform
you that
with
the consent
of
the
parliamentary factions
early
parliamentary elections in
the
Republic
of Armenia
are
preliminary
scheduled
to
take place on June
20,2021.
Once
the
official
announcement
regarding the early elections
is made,
I
shall
issue
an
invitation
to
the
OSCE
Parliamentary
Assembly
to
send
an
observation
mission.
In
the
meantime,
we
kindly
ask
for
your
support
in
sending
the
OSCE/ODIHRNeeds
Assessment
Mission
to
Armenia
within
shortest
possible
time.
It
is
my
strong
belief
that
we
will
hold
free,
fair
and
transparent elections
that
will
testiff
the
irreversibility
of
the democratizationprocess
in Armenia,
leading to
the
consolidation
of
strong
and
vibrant
democratic institutions,
as
well
as
of
the
effective
system
of
checks
and balances.
