Kære alle.
Da det på grund af den fortsatte coronakrise ikke er muligt at gennemføre den planlagte 400 års
fejring i Trankebar i februar, har vi besluttet at flytte arrangementet til weekenden den 11.-12.
september i stedet.
Et program for dagenes forløb vil blive offentliggjort i juli måned.
Vi håber meget, at du og din institution vil og kan deltage til den tid.
Jeg har i dag udsendt nedenstående pressemeddelelse til Danmark og Indien.

Postponement of the 400th year celebration in Tranquebar to September 2021.
Because of the corona crisis we have to cancel the scheduled celebration in February of the 400
th
year of the Danish arrival at Tranquebar. In stead we have decided to move the planned celebration
to the weekend September 11
th
-12
th
in the hope that by then the situation will have normalized.
A programme for the event will be released in July.
We hope that you or your institution will and can participate in the celebration in September and
help to make it a memorable event for all.
