CONFERENCE:
BRAZILIAN AND DANISH CONTRIBUTION TO THE CHALLENGE OF
SUSTAINABLE FOOD SUPPLY
Venue and date: Copenhagen, Chamber of Commerce, October 28, 2021
Main auditorium at Børsen, Slotsholmsgade 1, 1217 Copenhagen K.
Coffee, refreshments and lunch will be provided.
The Embassy of Brazil in Denmark, with institutional support from the
Danish Agricultural & Food Council, Food Nation and DAKOFO, has the
pleasure to invite you to attend the conference.
Focus of the event:
The main objective of the event is to highlight the importance of maintaining a dialogue
between Denmark and Brazil in sustainable agriculture. If an increase of 70% in demand
for food is to be met by 2050, both countries, as major producers, will play a big part in
meeting this challenge through use of advanced and environmentally friendly policies and
corresponding Brazilian and Danish technologies. Counting on Brazilian experts that will
be brought in especially for this occasion as well as their Danish counterparts from
agribusiness, academia, environmental non-governmental organizations, trade, finance
and industry, this conference is a unique opportunity to not only learn more about what
is being achieved in sustainable agriculture, both in temperate and tropical climates, but
also to meet and network with the people directly involved. The event will be an
opportunity to promote cooperation among universities and research centers, as well as
partnerships and new business among agritechs from both countries.
