Spørgsmål
Vil ministeren oplyse om indsatsen er fattigdomsorienteret, med andre
ord kan indsatsen alene bruges i fattige lande og i bekræftende fald
hvilke lande?
Svar
Formålet med ESMAP er fattigdomsreduktion og øget vækst gennem ad-
gang til bæredygtige energiløsninger. Aktiviteterne gennemføres i lav- og
mellemindkomstlande. Danmark har sammen med andre ligesindede do-
norer arbejdet for at styrke fokus på særligt de mindst udviklede og skrø-
beligste lande. Fra dansk side er der derfor også tilfredshed med, at Afrika
som region er den klart største modtager af støtte fra ESMAP. Den sene-
ste oversigt over fordelingen af indsatser fordelt på regioner kan findes i
ESMAP’s årsrapport for 2019.
ESMAP arbejder aktivt i over 70 lande og spiller en central rolle for at
sikre adgang til bæredygtig energi for alle, herunder ren energi til madlav-
ning, en inklusiv grøn omstilling og fremme af flere kvinder i energisekto-
ren. Som anmodet i spørgsmålet er der på de følgende sider inkluceret en
liste over lande støttet af ESMAP under de forskellige tematiske områder
i 2019.
