Dear EDD Community members,
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and after careful consideration, the
European Commission’s Directorate-General
for International
Cooperation and Development has decided to postpone the 14th
edition of the European Development Days.
The next European Development Days will take place on
15-16 June 2021 in Brussels.
We reaffirm
our commitment to the EU’s Green Deal and will maintain
the theme ‘The Green Deal for a Sustainable Future’.
The ongoing
programme submission process will be concluded and results
communicated to stakeholders in the coming weeks. The European
Commission invites all partners to continue their strong engagement
with the event and will work towards ensuring an even greater level of
participation in June 2021.
We extend our thanks for your input and support for the event to
date. Our main concern is to protect
everyone’s health, ensure

thoughts are with all those affected by the crisis.
