THE SECRETARY GENERAL
LA SECRÉTAIRE GÉNÉRALE
067 CIR 20 E
6 March, 2020
TO SECRETARIES OF DELEGATION FOR DISTRIBUTION TO ALL MEMBERS
Dear members,
I am writing to inform you that one of the members of the French delegation to the NATO PA,
Mr Jean-Luc Reitzer, has been diagnosed with coronavirus and admitted to the hospital
yesterday, Thursday 5 March. I am in touch with the French delegation and will keep you
informed as soon as I have more news about his condition. Our thoughts are with him and his
family and we wish him a prompt recovery.
Mr Reitzer attended our Joint Committee meetings in Brussels on 17-19 February over two
weeks ago. However, it is as of now unclear when he might have been infected.
I will keep you informed as I receive more information, but, in the meantime, would encourage
you to refer to your national health authorities’ advice and consult them should you have any
questions or concerns.
You can also find useful information here about the incubation period, symptoms and other
relevant questions:

Many thanks and best wishes,
