The German Bundestag has set up an online registration system for all conferences taking place
in the framework of the Parliamentary Dimension
of Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the
EU.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated space restrictions, it would be appreciated
if the number of delegation members be limited accordingly.
Note regarding the COVID-19 pandemic
Your health is important to us. We will therefore be taking a number of precautions to minimise
the risk of infection, and we will inform you about them in good time before the conference. If it
is not possible to meet in person as a result of the pandemic situation, it is possible that the inter-
parliamentary meeting will be held as a video conference. We will inform you of this three to
four weeks before the conference.

Welcome desks will be set up in the conference hotels on Sunday, 11 October 2020, from 12.00 to
18.00, to issue conference bags and badges. Participants who arrive later will receive conference
bags and badges at the venue.
Please note that for security reasons only hand luggage can be taken into the Reichstag Building.
Cruise on the River Spree
On Sunday, 11 October, we will offer the opportunity to take part in a cruise on the River Spree,
starting at 18.00 and lasting around 1.5 hours. You will be picked up at your hotel at around
17.15. As the number of places available is limited, please let us know during the accreditation
process whether you wish to take part in the cruise. Registrations will be taken into account ac-
cording to the date of receipt.
Conference badges
For security reasons, all participants are required to wear their conference badges openly during
the entire conference. In the event that you lose your badge, please contact the conference organ-
isers without delay.

Buses will be on standby to take participants from the conference hotels to the German Bundes-
tag and to the evening event. After the end of the conference on 13 October 2020, buses will be
available to take participants to the conference hotels and to Berlin’s airports.

During the conference, simultaneous interpretation will be provided in German, English and
French. If you would like to be accompanied by your own interpreters, please send an email to

Privacy notice
By registering as a conference participant, you agree to the transfer of the non-exclusive, unlim-
ited right of use of your speech and/or your statements, along with any photos and videos taken
during the conference, to the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the German Bundes-
tag. In particular, this includes the transferable right to copy, disseminate, send, reproduce and
make available publically, and use these in any form currently known or as yet unknown, includ-
ing in edited form.
Special requirements
If you would like vegan or vegetarian meals or if you have any food intolerances of which we
should be aware, please indicate this during the accreditation process. Please also notify us if you
have reduced mobility and require support while you are in Berlin.
