Dear Honorable Colleagues,
On behalf of the Parliamentary Network, it is my pleasure to invite you to the Parliamentary Workshop
during the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) on 15 October 2019
in Washington D.C, organized jointly with the World Bank Group and the IMF.
The event presents the opportunity for parliamentarians from all over the world to engage with the
leadership of international financial institutions, and discuss economic and development issues of global
concern with senior IMF and World Bank experts.

and we will look at how international financial organisations and parliamentarians can work
together to fight inequalities.
The International Secretariat in Paris will prepare the event schedule and send it to you in due time.
Sessions will be held in English and French. Please note that participation costs are the responsibility of the
participant. We welcome you to nominate up to two representatives from your committee to attend.
