Practical information
Registration
The delegations from each country are kindly asked to confirm their par-
ticipation by registering
here.
The deadline for registration is 6 May.
Venue
On the first day of the Forum, the programme will take place at the
Swedish Home Guard Combat School (HvSS) located in Vällinge, west of
Stockholm. The school trains Home Guard commanders in combat and
leadership, and specialises in tactics, methodologies and combat tech-
niques. The school is also responsible for recruitment to the Home Guard.
Transport will be provided to the HvSS from the recommended hotel at
2 p.m. on Monday 10 June.
The second day of the Forum will take place at the Swedish Parliament,
a 10-minute walk from the recommended hotel. All delegates are kindly
requested to
bring a photo ID
to enter the Parliament. During the day,
there will be
opportunities to discuss some current topics such as the cre-
ation of resilient societies and the development of the European Defence
Fund.
The official programme will end at 2 p.m., after which there will be
an optional tour of parliament.
Official dinner
The Swedish Defence Committee will host a dinner on Monday 10 June
at 6 p.m. The dinner will take place on board the boat M/S Gustaf III, de-
parting directly from the HvSS. During the dinner cruise towards Stock-
holm city centre we will be joined by guest speaker Director General Dag
Hartelius from
the National Defence Radio Establishment
(the Swedish
national authority for signals intelligence).
After the dinner, the boat will arrive at Stockholm Old Town, just a short
walk from the recommended hotel.

Accommodation
A block booking has been made at
First Hotel Reisen,
at a special rate. The
hotel is located in Stockholm Old Town, a 10-minute walk from the Swed-
ish Parliament. The price per room is SEK 1608 (€ 155) per night, includ-
ing taxes, breakfast, wireless internet and use of relax centre and fitness
room. It is possible, on a first come, first served basis, to book rooms with
a sea view at an additional cost off SEK 500 per room.

Transport
Delegations are kindly requested to make their own arrangements for
transport from and to the airport. Arlanda International Airport is locat-
ed 43 km from the recommended hotel. We recommend that you travel to
Stockholm from the airport by
taxi
or
high-speed train.
Transport to and from the HvSS will be provided by the Swedish Parlia-
ment. No transport will be arranged between the hotel and the Swedish
Parliament, as it takes just 10 minutes to walk between the locations.
Language
The Forum will be held in English. If your delegation intends to bring its
own interpreter, please send an email to one of the organisers below.
