Invitation to
First BSPC Working Group meeting on Migration and
Integration
Hamburg 4-5 December 2017
Dear Members of the BSPC Working Group on Migration and Integration
As Vice-Chair of the BSPC Working Group on Migration and Integration I invite you
wholeheartedly to our first working group meeting, which will take place 4-5 December 2017
in Hamburg. The date was announced by email of 5 October.
The meeting will take place 5 December 2017, at 10.00-13:00
Hamburg City Hall, Kaisersaal, followed by lunch.
An informal dinner will be arranged at 19.30 on the 4
th
in the Syrian restaurant „Saliba“, Neuer Wall 13, 20354 Hamburg.
We have opened the meeting up to contributions from external experts from different
backgrounds and have invited:
Aydan Özoğuz, current Minister of State and Commissioner of the Federal Government for
Migration, Refugees and Integration (tbc)
Ulrich Weinbrenner, Head of the Staff Unit for Social Cohesion and Integration
in the Federal Ministry of Interior
Bernd Hemingway, Deputy Director General of the CBSS (tbc).
Attached please find my proposal of the Scope of Work as basis for our discussion.
