Dear Mrs. Flury
Thank you for your request to address the Foreign Affairs Committee.
As agreed, the Committee will receive you on Tuesday 5 December 2017 in
room 2-133 at the Danish Parliament. You are kindly requested to stand by
from 3 p.m. outside the meeting room. As mentioned, you may have to wait
for quite some time before the Committee will be able to receive you.
Please note that you should present yourself at the
visitors’ entrance of the
Danish Parliament no later than 15 minutes prior to the expected time of the
meeting. After security check you will receive a guest badge. The badge
should be carried at all times during your visit.
When delegations are received, committee meetings are normally conducted
according to the following procedure:
1. The members of a delegation should have a natural relation to the person
or organisation asking for the possibility of addressing the Committee.
2. One or more members of the delegation will be given the opportunity of
briefly presenting their views on the matter in question.
3. Members of the Committee may ask questions to the delegation when the
delegation has presented its arguments. Questions are asked in rounds. Sub-
sequently, the delegation will be offered the opportunity of answering. The
delegation cannot ask questions to the Committee.
4. Negotiations as such do not take place, but the views and opinions pre-
sented by the delegation will be part of the Committee’s continued considera-
tion of the matter.

5. The delegation has up to 15 minutes available in total including questions
from committee members.
Committee meetings take place behind closed doors, unless otherwise decid-
ed by the Committee. Minutes are not taken of committee meetings.
Written material handed over by the delegation may, however, be published
on the website of the Danish Parliament unless the delegation specifically
asks the Committee to treat it as confidential.
Names and titles of participants in the delegation should be sent to the Com-
mittee Assistant, Mrs. Amalie Andresen, to
[email protected]
no later
than one day prior to the meeting.
Yours faithfully,
Amalie Bentsdatter Andresen,
Assistant to the Foreign Affairs Committee
