To Mr. Naser Khader
It is with great pleasure that I extend to you an official invitation to attend the
5
th
Israel Homeland
Security & Cyber International Conference and Exhibition:
Today’s Technology for Future Security
,
which will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel on November 12-15, 2018.
With the growing global challenges of combating terrorism, countering cyber-threats and protecting
critical infrastructure, we believe that this international conference and exhibition, which will bring
together the top Israeli and international experts in the field, is particularly timely.
As Israel's Minister of Public Security, I recently convened an International Ministerial Forum to discuss
the challenges of combatting terror.
The homeland security ministers who gathered in Jerusalem from
around the world agreed on the need for a greater sharing of best practices and technologies.
The Israel
Homeland Security & Cyber International Conference and Exhibition
in November will be an
opportunity to advance this goal, by bringing together thousands of officials, practioners and industry
leaders to present cutting-edge technologies and explore topics such as Cyber Security, Global Terror,
Infrastructure Protection, Intelligence, Crime Preemption, Public Order and Emergency Preparedness.
This biennial conference was attended in 2016 by 5,000 leaders from the government, security and
business sectors from approximately 85 countries. This year's conference, which we expect to be even
larger, will include a special focus on the cross-sector challenge of securing cyberspace, which affects
fields as diverse as infrastructure, health, finance, and transportation, and on the rapidly developing
field of Fintech.
I invite you to lead a delegation of professionals from your country to the conference.
It will be an
honor to welcome you in Israel as our guest and to enable you to witness first-hand the best Israel has
to offer in this field.
Sincerely,
MK Gilad Erdan
Minister of Public Security
Minister of Strategic Affairs
