Invitation for the
Stories of Hope conference
and
The Livia award
Celebration
We have the great pleasure to invite you for the
“Stories
of hope conference and the Livia Award
Celebration”
in Copenhagen, Denmark November 28 2016.
The Livia award is given for nonviolent, brave, creative conflict approaches in serious societal
conflicts. Former Livia nominees and the winners expressed a desire for more time to exchange ideas
and experiences and make new contacts in the field of peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
Furthermore, the participants who came for the Livia award programme expressed big interest in
learning more about the methods and experiences from the Livia nominees and award winners.
Thus in November 2016 we have invited former nominees and award winners to Copenhagen, to
Denmark for a conference, where we will exchange ideas, discuss, disseminate, explore creative non-
violent ways of conflict transformation with representatives from Danish INGO’s, academia, decision
makers and media. 15 international distinguished conflict and peace workers are coming from
Afghanistan, France, Israel, Lebanon, New York, Palestine, South Sudan, Syria and Turkey.
