situation of detainees in the Tindouf Camps, a situation which is described all along the aforementioned
report as utterly dramatic and inhuman: all of them were exposed to torture (corporal and psychological

Cuba, they lose contact with their families, and are often exploited and put to work in domestic service,
factories, and agriculture, and subjected to military training. Besides, it compels children to serve in its
"armed forces" in defiance of the international instruments relative to the protection of child rights. Very
young girls were sexually abused and forcibly impregnated in an attempt by frente polisario leaders to
increase the population in the camps. Without a census, there was no way to know the exact number of
births, deaths, early marriages and cases of disability and violence, which prevented the Office of the
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees from profiling the population for humanitarian and

court

warrant issued on November 2016 by the Spanish judiciary which prosecutes him for crimes against
humanity. He has been summoned to appear before court in 2008 to answer for crimes committed when
he was heading the polisario armed milita between 1976 and 1989. But he never complied with the
summons issued by the Spanish Judge Pablo Ruz of National Court. He tops the list of wanted terrorists in
Spain for the assassination of thirty fishermen from the Canary Islands. The fishermen were killed at Ghali's

humanitarian aid for decades to the detriment of the population held against their will in the camps of

dignitaries is simply outrageous. This report also confirm that Algeria collected a value added or VAT tax on
the Aid distributed to the population in the camps. Over the past four decades, the UNCHR (h). , the world
food program (WFP) and the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) have been unanimous in their recognition
of the embezzlement on international aid sent to Tindouf`s prisoners. The Fraud has reportedly been
conducted at the hands of Algerian officials and polisario leaders. The said report throws light on the main
problem in Sahara issue: a census of population in captivity in the Tindouf Camps, which Algeria and
polisario reject categorically despite the UNHCR repeated requests. . As we know the Census is not a
voluntary formality but a UNCHR mandatory

The spanish anti-corruption trade union demands to bring before justice the leaders and representatives of
the polisario in spain and members of CEAS-sahara's NGO ( known for its support to the polisario) for their
involvement in this massive fraud.

Government to pressure the polisario into releasing women being held in Tindouf Camps to bring an end to
family tragedies. The petition urges the government to suspe

So far, the petition has attracted over 1000 signatures, according to the newspaper El Diario(j). . The

have Spanish citizenship and has been forcibly detained. Such is the case of Maloma Morales, a Spanish
national captured and held for over a year in Tindouf Camps. Her parents have ceaselessly campaigned for
her safe return to Spain. The Foreign Affairs Committee at the Congress of Deputies then received the
Representatives of the host families of these women, followed by a communiqué stating that the families
of the detainees have informed the members of the Congress of Deputies of the human rights violation
committed by the polisario against these female Sahrawis. Members of the Congress of Deputies expressed
their support for the host families and promised to put every possible effort into the release of these young
women back to their families.
