Re:
Complaint
about
the
Moroccan
authorities
and
how
it
is
mistreating
the
Saharawi
Political
Prisoners
of
the
Gdeim
Izik
Group.
Dear
Madam,
It
is
an
honor
to
write
you
this
letter
as
you
have
always
been
upholding
and
defending
ideals,
shared
values
and
noble
universal
principles
which
we
have
been
as
well
defending
and
still
paying
the
high
price
for
such
a
stance
and
such
a
defense:
we
have
been
punished
illegally
of
six
years
of
arbitrary
detention
in
the
Moroccan
prisons
by
the
Moroccan
authorities.
Laarijat
local
prison
is
our
current
detention
center
where
we
live
in
terrible
and
compelling
circumstances.
Such
a
situation
can
only
be
described
as
that
full
of
degradation
of
human
dignity
and
depriving
us
of
the
most
basic
legal
rights
in
complete
contradiction
with
the
publicized
slogans
vaunted
by
the
Moroccan
state
in
all
international
forums.
The
Moroccan
regime
tends
to
falsify
facts
and
tries
to
embellish
its
image
that
is
stained
with
our
blood
in
retaliation
of
our
public
political
stance,
our
activism
and
advocacy
as,
including
myself,
we
are
always
defending
and
calling
and
for
the
right
to
self-‐determination
for
the
Saharawi
people.
The
chronology
of
the
facts
regarding
our
case
is
a
solid
proof
that
Morocco
does
not
want
to
provide
for
the
least
conditions
to
and
terms
to
our
legal
fair
and
impartial
trial,
or
even
to
our
release
without
any
restriction
in
spite
of
the
collective
demand
made
by
organizations
be
it
Moroccan
associations
or
well
known
international
NGO´s
.
Even
the
Special
Rapporteurs
and
the
UN
Working
Group
on
the
Elimination
of
Torture
and
the
one
on
Arbitrary
Detention
have
been
weighing
in,
especially
Juan
Mendez,
In
addition
to
these
groups,
The
European
parliament,
the
Pan-‐African
parliament
and
the
High
Commissioner
for
Human
Rights
along
with
several
international
figures
have
all
been
calling
for
either
our
retrial
before
a
civilian
court
