Session III: Mobilizing resources for SDG implementation in the Asia-
Pacific region
Aid funds and debt relief were key for the Millennium Development Goals.
Today, it is widely recognized that other resources from the both public and
private sectors are needed to implement the SDGs. This session will
consider how parliaments, together with development partners, can ensure
adequate financial and non-financial resources for the implementation of
national and regional SDG strategies. Key commitments of development
cooperation and corresponding institutional processes will be highlighted.
