Kongres i Rzeszów, Polen om modernisering og udvikling i Ukraine med
undertitlem “How to Save and Rebuild the Human Capital? The Educati-
on and Academia Reform”.
Formand for Uddannelses- og Forskningsudvalget Christine Antorini har
modtaget invitation til at deltage i en to-dages kongres i Rzeszów, Polen af-
holdt af ’Institute for Eastern Studies’.
Temaet for kongressen modernisering og udvikling i Ukraine med under-
titlem “How to Save and Rebuild the Human Capital? The Education and Ac-
ademia Reform”.
Formanden har ikke mulighed for at deltage, og derfor opfordrede arrangø-
ren til at andre interesserede medlemmer af udvalget kunne melde sig til.

On behalf of the Institute for Eastern Studies I am honoured to invite you
to the 10th Europe-Ukraine Forum that will be held in Rzeszów, city close to
Polish-Ukrainian border, on 26th – 28th January 2017. This time the leading
theme of the Forum will be “Opportunities Not To Be Missed”.
The debates of the Europe-Ukraine Forum 2017 will focus on the key issues
of modernisation and development of Ukraine. I would highly appreciate your
effort to be among our honourable guests and participants in the session enti-
tled:
How to Save and Rebuild the Human Capital? The Education and Academia
Reform
Nowadays, due to the depopulation, the importance of human capital is con-
stantly increasing as one of the most important factors of economic develop-
ment of the country. During the discussion we will address the most important
problems connected with adjustment of the education system to the needs of
the market and the preferred directions of economic development.

The Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies based in Warsaw is the main
organizer of the Economic Forum held annually in Krynica/Poland for the last
25 years. It has become a major economic event in Central Eastern Europe.
Each year this prestigious event is attended by high-level representatives
from business, politics, academia and NGOs. The event has a long tradition of
bringing together leaders from Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, America
and Western Europe. Institute for Eastern Studies organizes other annual
Forums in various European cities: the European Congress of Local Govern-
ments, the Europe-Ukraine Forum, the Industry Forum.
