5th OECD Parliamentary Days, 8-10 February 2017
Dear Ambassador,
We would like to draw your attention to the
5
th
OECD Parliamentary Days
which will take place at the
OECD Conference
Centre
in Paris on
8-10 February 2017.
This will include a
meeting of the OECD Global Parliamentary Network
on 9-
10 February, held jointly with the
NATO Parliamentary Assembly;
as well as
bilateral meetings
between OECD experts
and parliamentary delegations on 8 (all day) and 10 February (afternoon only). In addition, an iLibrary stand during the
Network meeting and two iLibrary information sessions on 8 and 10 February will be offered.
This event will offer an opportunity for Members of Parliament and OECD experts to engage in dialogue on a range of key
topics. The following sessions are currently foreseen: a conversation with the OECD Secretary-General, the 2030 Agenda
and financing for sustainable development, the Paris Climate Agreement, Investment, Trade, Education, Health, the
Productivity and Equality nexus, Independent Fiscal Institutions, and the role of International Organisations.
We would be grateful if you could share the dates of the upcoming OECD Parliamentary Days as well as the
draft
programme
(attached), with parliamentary representatives from your country.
Regarding the bilateral meeting programme on 8 and 10 February, given the high demand, we would greatly appreciate
the support of Delegations in facilitating the requests. As MPs from your country register and express interest for meetings
on specific topics, the Public Affairs and Communications Directorate will liaise with you on the details.
