I would like to draw your attention to a
Global Tax Transparency Summit
being organised by the House
of Commons Public Accounts Committee on Thursday 8
th
and Friday 9
th
December 2016 in London. The
Committee of Public Accounts retains its strong interest in promoting tax transparency and the prevention of
aggressive tax avoidance by multinationals and this global summit will bring together Parliamentarians from
across the world to discuss these issues in-depth. This summit is intended to progress efforts on these issues
and ensure Parliamentarians are working with Governments in order to continue to deliver on these
objectives.
A reception on Thursday 8
th
December will be followed by a day of plenary sessions on Friday 9
th
December, with a range of speakers. If you are interested in attending this event, please register your interest
at

As space will be limited, priority will be given to Parliamentarians and their officials.
