Parliamentary Conference on Combating International Terrorism
28 March 2017
Venue: Tavrichesky Palace (47, Shpalernaya Street, St. Petersburg).
Opening: 10.00 on 28 March 2017.

1. REGISTRATION
All participants are requested to provide the following information:
Full name;
Position;
Organization;
Time, date and arrival flight number;
Time, date and departure flight number.
Registration for the conference will take place in the conference venue on
27–28 March. The participants must also fill in the online registration
form via a link from the official web-site of the IPA CIS at
www.iacis.ru.
The form will be available in Russian and English.

2. VISAS
Those participants who need an entry visa to Russia, should obtain it in
advance from a relevant diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation
using the personal invitation letter to the Conference signed by the
organizers.
Those participants, who need visa support, and do not have a personal
invitation, should tick the corresponding field "NEED VISA
SUPPORT" in the online registration form of the Conference to receive
a personal invitation and apply for a visa.
It is also recommended to send the information on attending the
Conference to the responsible persons in advance (see paragraph 10).
3. MEETING,
FAREWELL,
TRANSFERS
The participants will be welcomed upon arrival at the Pulkovo airport of
St. Petersburg.
Transfer to and from the airport will be provided according to the flight
schedule.
Transfer to and from the venue of the Conference in the Tavrichesky
Palace will be provided according to the schedule of the event.
Transportation will be provided only for the activities within the program
of the event.
Parking in St. Petersburg is free of charge, excluding paid parking area
in the city center. Parking near the Tavrichesky Palace will be provided
on extra parking space with special car passes. In order to receive a
special car pass, please, contact the coordinator (see paragraph 10).
The participants can make reservations through the “Service Bureau”
company (the hotel booking form is attached).
Accommodation is covered by the participants at their own cost.
Information on the dates of arrival and departure should also be submitted
to the responsible person (see paragraph 10).
All participants are requested to carry their individual badges at all times
during the events within the Conference program.
Badges can be obtained during the registration in the Tavrichesky Palace.

7. SIMULTANEOUS
INTERPRETATION
Simultaneous interpretation into/from English, Russian and French will
be provided during the Conference meetings.

PROGRAM AND
OTHER EVENTS
Lunch will be served in the Tavrichesky restaurant and should be paid by
participants in local currency. Participants can buy lunch tickets in
advance at the registration desk.
According to the program, the participants will be offered a coffee break
provided by the Conference organizers.
On 27 March 2017 the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations
of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be hosting the Inaugural
Plenary Session of the IPA CIS dedicated to its 25th anniversary
(Dumsky Hall, 16.00), as well as the gala concert (Ekaterininsky Hall,
18.00) and the reception (Ekaterininsky Hall, 19.00). The participants of
the Conference are invited to attend these events.
Information on cultural events in St. Petersburg will be available at the
reception desk.
