the film
“Turkish
Passport”
on
Wednesday, February 3,
2016 at 16.30
at Cinemateket, Gothersgade 55, 1123 Copenhagen, to be kindly forwarded to the members of the Foreign
Affairs Committee.
The screening will take place on the occasion of the
Holocaust Memorial Day,
in parallel to various
activities taking place in Turkey for the remembrance of the Holocaust.
The film
Turkish Passport
tells the story of diplomats working at the Turkish diplomatic and consular
missions in several European countries, who saved numerous Jews during the Second World War by issuing
them Turkish passports so that they would be under the protection of the Turkish state and ensured to be
sent to Turkey. The film has won various awards in various renowned international festivals.
Following the screening H. E. the Ambassador is inviting you to join us for
a vin d’honneur.
