The Copenhagen Citizen Service has received application for a pass-
port renewal from Hashil Seif Hashil, born the 12. Th. of January
1938.
In Hashil Seif Hashil’s former passport issued in 2005 (no. 200687331)
the Place of birth was on request stated as Zanzibar.
Due to a change in regulations from the 1.st of January 2012 it has
not longer been possible to put anything but the name of country as
Place of birth in Danish passport.
As Zanzibar is integrated in the United Republic of Tanzania, pass-
ports issued to Hashil Seif Hashil will state that place of birth is Tan-
zania.
We have issued a new passport (No. 208595053) to Hashil Seif Hashil
dated 070915 with this information.
