The Guides and Scouts of Sweden will be happy to assist you to
discover our beautiful city if you would like to extend your stay in Stockholm.
Young leader program
For scouting, young leadership has a central role and the Guides and Scouts of Sweden are proud that
many business leaders in Sweden have had their first leadership assignment within our movement. We
can also see that our government has taken a stand on the importance of young leaders; two of our
ministers are younger than 30 years old.
We would like to have the opportunity to discuss young leadership together with you, and ask you to
bring a young leader, up to 26 years of age, from your country to the WSPU General Assembly in
Stockholm. The young leaders will participate in the program with workshops and seminars.
Costs
The participation in WSPU General Assembly is free of charge for one member of the Scout
Parliament Union and one young leader per country. If you would like to participate with more
attendees from your country there will be a participation fee.

Participation in WSPU will cover meals from dinner August 31
st
until breakfast September 2
nd
. You will
need to cover additional meals and arrangements apart from the abovementioned conditions. Travel
and accommodation will be covered on your own account. Of course we will assist you with your
bookings and the logistics for this event.
Language and interpretation
The WSPU General Assembly and the different meetings and receptions will be held in English. In
need of an interpreter, you will need to arrange for this yourself and all costs will be covered by you.
