The person in question applies for Danish citizenship by declara-
tion at the State Administration
The State Administration cannot accept the application and issues a
letter of intention
The applicant submits the letter of intention to the Turkish Embas-
sy
The Turkish authorities issues a renunciation permit document to
the applicant
The applicant submits the renunciation permit document and a new
declaration to the State Administration
If the applicant now meets all the conditions the State Administra-
tion issues a certificate for Danish citizenship
The State Administration informs the Turkish Embassy that the ap-
plicant has been granted Danish citizenship
The Turkish authorities releases the applicant from his or her Turk-
ish citizenship
