Curriculum Vitae of the H.E. the Minister Delegate
Mrs Mbarka BOUAIDA:
Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation
Mrs Mbarka BOUAIDA whom His Majesty the King Mohammed VI appointed as Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and
Cooperation, was born in 1975 in Lakssabi near Guelmim.
Mrs BOUAIDA, Member of the National Rally of Independents Political Bureau, was elected, in 2007, for the first time, to the Chamber of
Representatives. She has co-chaired the Morocco-European Union Joint Parliamentary Commission since its creation in May 2010, and
chaired, during 2010, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, National Defence, Islamic Affairs and Moroccans Living Abroad in the Chamber
of Representatives.
During the period 2008-2009, she served as Vice President of the Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs and as Rapporteur of the
same Committee for the Moroccan draft budget project for 2009.
In June 2009, Mrs BOUAIDA was elected to the City Council of the Grand Casablanca .
At the international level, Mrs Bouaida was named as 2012 World Economic Forum ‘Young Global Leader”. She has been Vice
President of the International Parliamentary Forum for Democracy, since September 2011. She is also member of the Council of
Europe’s North-South Centre, the United Nations Civilizations’ Alliance, and “Munich Young Leaders” of Munich International
Conference on Security
