For de som ikke er inde i forskningsverdenen er Stanford et af verdens ypperste forskningsuniversitetermed meget høj kvalitet i deres resultater. Der er absolut ingen grund til at betvivle Stanfords troværdighed,så det er altså klokkeklart at ME (og fibromyalgi)ikke er funktionelle lidelser.Så mens Per Fink forsvarede at ME er en funktionel lidelse i Folketinget, kunne han være taget tilCalifornien og have fået forståelse for hvorfor ME ikke er en funktionel lidelse.Han kunne også være blevet meget klogere på hvordan ME-patienter skal diagnosticeres og behandles.Jeg undrer mig såre over, at FFL kan være ansvarlig for behandling af ME-patienter i Danmark. Og hvordankan de få lov til at ændre en ME-diagnose til en psykiatrisk diagnose med fare for patienternes liv?Hvorfor har man ikke sørget for at sende sundhedspersonale til konferencen, så Danmark kunne bliverustet til at bekæmpe denne alvorlige sygdom?Denne underlige konstruktion, som kaldes funktionelle lidelser, koster desværre menneskeliv, så jeg håberSundhedsudvalget handler nu.MvhCand.
