Invitation to the Inter-Parliamentary Conference for the CFSP and the CSDP
Rome 5-7 November 2014
Dear Colleague,
In our capacity as Chairpersons of the Committees on Foreign Affairs and on
Defence of the Italian Parliament, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the Inter-
Parliamentary Conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the
Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) to be held in Rome, within the framework
of the parliamentary dimension of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European
Union.
The Conference will take place on 5-7 November at the Senate of the Republic and
it will be preceded by a cultural programme followed by a welcome cocktail on the evening
of Wednesday 5 November.
Please find enclosed the preliminary draft programme of the Conference, as well as
a general information document containing all practical information, including details on
hotel accommodation. You are kindly requested to register online at
www.ue2014.parlamento.it
and to return the hotel reservation form directly to the hotel of
your choice.
