Dear Hendrick Kerlen,Thank you for your letter of 30 August 2013 concerning the socio-economicevaluation of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link Project.In 2004 the Danish Ministry of Transport published the socio-economic analy-sis of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link project prepared by COWI and DanmarksTransportforskning.This analysis was part of the basis for the political decision to sign the statetreaty between Germany and Denmark for the establishment of the Fehmarn-belt Fixed Link on 3 September 2008.The treaty was ratified by the Danish Parliament on 26 March 2009. On 18June 2009 the treaty was ratified by the German Parliament.I can confirm that the Danish Ministry of Transport has no plans to initiate thepreparation of a new socio-economic analysis of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Linkproject.
