Dear Heads of Delegations,Dear Members of the Standing Committee,
Presidential Elections in Armenia have been called for 18 February 2013, and the OSCE PAwill deploy a limited OSCE PA election observation mission to these elections. Therefore,we would like to invite Members of the Standing Committee to observe these elections.Please note that while Heads of Delegation can be substituted by another Member ofDelegation (but only one member per delegation), no substitution is possible for BureauMembers. President Migliori has appointed Vice-President Tonino Picula to lead thismission.Please find attached a registration form for Members wishing to observe the elections inArmenia. We kindly ask you to return the completed forms with copies of Members’passports and passport photos to Operations Officer Iryna Sabashuk at the InternationalSecretariat ([email protected] ) as soon as possible, but not later than28 January.
We arecurrently looking at the logistical aspects of this mission and will circulate more practicalinformation, including recommended hotel accommodation soon.I wish to remind you that national parliaments are responsible for their Members’ expensesand that all meetings and briefings will be conductedin Armenian and English only.
