Message from: Jennifer Bisping, Deputy Head of Public Affairs, OECDDear Ms. Gaardsted,The OECD would like to invite you to the nextOECD High-level Parliamentary Seminar, which will take place onMonday 17 and Tuesday 18 June 2013.Thanks to the kind offer of the Swedish Parliament the seminar will be held inStockholm. As you may know, in addition to our regular seminars in Paris, last year we started to hold an annual High-Level Parliamentary Seminar ‘on the road’ in a Member country. The first of such seminars was held in Chile in March2012.The title of the June seminar is“From Economic Turbulence to Inclusive Growth: Lessons from the NordicModel?”.It will address inclusive growth and the Nordic model on the one hand, and on the other how parliaments canlearn from experts and independent sources. The OECD Deputy Secretary-General Mr. Yves Leterme and the SwedishMinister for Financial Markets Mr. Peter Norman will speak at the seminar. Please find attached a draft programme, which is also available on the OECD website (www.oecd.org/parliamentarians).The seminar is open to Members of Parliament. It offers an exceptional opportunity for parliamentarians to exchangeviews with their colleagues and OECD experts on a range of key issues. Staffers are very welcome to attend. We would therefore be very grateful if you could share the invitation with your fellow members of the Business, Growthand Export Committee who might be interested in attending. We hope you and your colleagues of the Business, Growth and Export Committee will be able to join us for this event. For more detailed information or if you have any queries you can contact myself or my colleague Silvia Terrón[[email protected]; Tel: +33 (0) 1 45 24 95 72].Yours sincerely,Jennifer Bisping
