The OSCE PA has been invited to observe the early parliamentary elections in Kazakhstanscheduled for 15 January 2012. President Petros Efthymiou has decided to deploy an ElectionObservation Mission to these elections.Those interested in obtaining more information about this Election Observation Mission areasked to contact Senior Counsellor Semyon Dzakhaev, Programme Director Anna Chernova([email protected]) or Logistics Officer Iryna Sabashuk ([email protected]) at the InternationalSecretariat.Please find attached a registration and accreditation forms for Members wishing to observe thiselection. We kindly ask you to return the completed forms (please make sure to sign theaccreditation form) along with a scanned copy of the Members’ passport to the InternationalSecretariatbefore Thursday, 5 January 2012.I would like to remind you that all observers are expected to arrive in Astana in time to attendthe briefings on 13-14 January 2012, and stay for the observer debriefing on the morning of 16January 2012.We are working on logistical arrangements for this Mission, and we will provide you with moreinformation, including on hotel accommodation as soon as possible.I also wish to inform you that national parliaments are responsible for all expenses of theirmembers and that all meetings and briefings will be conducted in English only.Yours sincerely,
