Annual conference 2012 for the Top-level Research InitiativeThe Top-level Research Initiative (TRI) on climate, energy and environment is now in its fourthyear, and the annual conference for 2012 continues the experience of sharing knowledge andresults. This year’s conference starts 29th Oct. 2012 at 3:30 PM and ends with lunch on 30thOct.The two half days will present the Top-level Research Initiative in a context on how the researchprogrammes can contribute to green growth.How can Nordic collaboration on climate, environment and energy questions contribute toeconomic growth in the future?What emphasis can the Top-level Research Initiative and its results have on green growth inthe Nordic countries and on future Nordic collaboration?
The two half days will focus on individual areas within;Day 1:
Policy-dayThe day focuses on an overall debate on expected results of the Top-level Research Initiativeand their impact on Nordic policy development within climate, energy and environment.Researchers, politicians and business are expected to be present at the day’s event. The aimis to have a panel discussion among the day’s speakers to round up the day.Day 2:
TRI-programme day with dissemination of resultsDay two focuses on the actual activities in the various research programmes under the Top-level Research Initiative. The main focus will be on achieved and expected results. Projectleaders from the 6 research programmes will all be present.
