After Afghanistan: Austerity, Allies and Opportunities for the ArmyThe Centre for Military Studies has the pleasure of inviting you to the semi-nar “After Afghanistan: Austerity, Allies and Opportunities for the Army”which will take place on August 29 from 09.00 to 12.30.The purpose of the seminar is to enable a discussion of the future of theDanish army after Afghanistan. In order to facilitate such a discussion we atthe Centre for Military Studies believe it is necessary to create a forum fordiscussion for the appropriate actors in which we can also consult allies ontheir experiences. In line with this we believe it is appropriate and helpful to get the Britishperspective from Army 2020 and how Great Britain have addressed thesame challenges that the Danish army is now facing. The seminar will take place at the University of Copenhagen on the 29th ofAugust and the theme will be the future challenges and possibilities for theDanish army after Afghanistan. The seminar will take place under the Chatham House Rule.
