FurthertoRejsekortA/SandEast‐WestagreeingonContractAddendumVonDecember17,2010,ThalesandAccentureastheownersoftheEast‐WesthassuggestedplanstorestructuretheEast‐Westjointventure.TosimplifytheinterfacebetweenclientandsupplierandstreamlinetheprocessofrollingoutRejsekort,AccenturewilltransferitsresponsibilitiestoThales.Thiswillensuretheseamlessintegrationofthedesignandbuildphaseoftheprojectwithmaintenanceandoperationofthesystem.Thisnewstructurewillallowthenecessarycontrolintherolloutphasesasthesystembecomesoperational,mitigatingtheincreasedcomplexityofrolloutfollowingthedesignchangesagreedinCA5.AttheendofatransitionperiodAccenturewilltransferallofitsresponsibilitiestoThales.ToensurecontinuitythiswillincludeThalestakingoverrelevantAccenturestaffandassets.East‐WestwasoriginallyajointventurewhereinAccenturewasa20%juniorstakeholderwithThalesasthe80%mainowner.Thistransitiontoamoresimpledeliverymodelwillbenefittheoverallprogram.ThetransitionisassessedbyGartnerGroupwhosupportthistransition.TheRejsekorte-Ticketingcontractbeganin2005whenRejsekortA/SawardedthecontracttotheEast‐Westjointventure.Rejsekortperceivetheplannedtransitionasasteptosecurethefinalizationofthesystemandatthesametimeensuretherollouttonationwidecoverageoverthenextyears.
